How Legend League Works

Why Legend League trophies behave differently from every league below it, and what actually determines your rank.

A capped number of attacks and defenses, not unlimited pushing

Below Legend League, you can attack as many times as you have Elixir and patience for, and trophies just go up or down with each result. In Legend League, only a limited number of attacks and a limited number of defenses count toward your standing each day — once you've used your counted attacks, additional wins don't push your rank further that day.

This changes the strategy meaningfully: instead of grinding trophies all day, Legend League play is about making each of your limited counted attacks actually count, since there's a hard ceiling on how much a single day can move your rank.

Daily performance, not a running trophy total

Your Legend League rank reflects your accumulated performance across the season, built from each day's capped attacks and defenses — not a single ever-fluctuating trophy count you could lose in a bad hour. A single rough defense doesn't erase a day's progress the way it might at lower leagues.

This is also why base-building matters more in Legend League than almost anywhere else: since defenses are capped and counted the same way attacks are, a base that holds up against the specific attack styles common at the top of the ladder has a real, measurable effect on season rank.

Where to check where you actually stand

Legend League rank resets each season, and where you land is entirely a function of real matches — not something worth guessing at. This site's Leaderboards pull live global and country rankings straight from the official API, so you can check real standing instead of relying on in-game estimates.
