Clan Capital & Raid Weekends Explained
How districts, Capital Gold, and Raid Medals work, and where all that ore for hero equipment actually comes from.
What Capital Gold is actually used for
Capital Gold has one job: upgrading the Clan Capital. It's spent on the Capital Hall and every district built around it, unlocking and leveling up each district's own troops, defenses, and buildings as the clan pours more Gold in — it can't be spent on your personal home village, and home village Gold can't be spent on the Capital either. The two economies are entirely separate.
Because it's shared clan-wide, Capital progress depends on the clan's collective activity, particularly how consistently members participate in Raid Weekends, more than any individual member's personal base strength.
Raid Weekends: where the resources come from
Raid Weekend runs on a set schedule each week and is the main way clans earn Capital Gold — members attack other clans' Capital districts, and successful raids generate Capital Gold for the home clan's own Capital upgrades, plus Raid Medals for the attacking player individually.
Raid Medals are spent by each player on their own account (troop and equipment-adjacent purchases), separately from the clan-wide Capital Gold — so Raid Weekend rewards both the clan's shared progress and each participant's individual account at the same time.
The ore connection
Raid Weekends are also one of the main sources of Shiny, Glowing, and Starry Ore — the resources hero equipment upgrades actually cost. That's why consistent Raid Weekend participation matters even for players who don't care much about Capital District progress specifically: skipping raids doesn't just slow the clan's Capital, it slows your own hero equipment upgrades too.
