Trump’s executive order restricting immigration from seven Muslim majority countries and barring refugees from entering the country was met with fierce popular resistance, media critique, and judicial defeat. In response, Trump and his band of germinal authoritarians have slandered protesters, continued their assault on the media, and advanced their most chilling challenge to the separation of powers, rule of law, and democracy to date.

In this episode, we discuss these recent events and put Trump’s response into the context of the campaign, election, transition, and administration, exposing his continuing transformatoin into America’s first tyrant.
