Episode 5: F is for Fascism

What is fascism? And is the United States on the fast track to becoming a fascist society? Or is this hyperbole?

In this episode, we go through “The 14 Defining Characteristics of Fascism” and discuss how they do (and do not) map onto current politics and culture in the United States. The prevalence of these factors in American society isn’t new, but recent political developments have accelerated the development of American fascism. President Donald J. Trump is both a symptom and an agent of these processes.
